Shemar Moore, the star of S.W.A.T., and his longtime girlfriend Jesiree Dizon have ended their relationship after five years of dating, according to multiple reports. The couple, who share a 2-year-old daughter, Frankie, had been together since rekindling their romance in 2020.
A Look Back at Their Relationship
Shemar, 54, and Jesiree, 41, first crossed paths in 2008 before reconnecting over a decade later. Their relationship blossomed, and in 2021, they welcomed their daughter Frankie. Jesiree also has two children from previous relationships: son Kaiden, 18, and daughter Charlie, 6.
Despite their growing family, Shemar recently revealed that he had no plans to expand it further. During a January 24 appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, he explained, “This is real life, I’m gonna keep it 100. I’m 54 years old. My home—our home—is full.”
He also cited his age as a factor in his decision, saying, “God willing I make it to 90, that’s a blessed, full life for me, but that’s 37 years old for [Frankie]. So, full life for me but maybe gone too soon for her.”
Shemar’s Views on Marriage
Shemar has been open about his reluctance to marry Jesiree, despite their strong bond. In a November interview with People, he shared that he didn’t have a positive role model for marriage growing up.
“I asked my mother one time,” he recalled. “I’m like, ‘If people get married, then what’s this prenup thing? Oh, I love you. You’re the most amazing person in the world but sign this. So you don’t trust the person?’”
However, Shemar emphasized his commitment to Jesiree and their family, saying, “Tomorrow’s not guaranteed, but Jesiree, I’ll give you everything I got today and tomorrow. She is my partner. She is the mother of Frankie. Frankie has a dope-ass mama, and I’m going to try to be a dope-ass daddy.”
The Split and What’s Next
News of the couple’s breakup comes just days after Shemar’s candid comments about their family life. While neither Shemar nor Jesiree has publicly addressed the split, sources confirm that they have decided to go their separate ways.
E! News has reached out to Shemar’s representatives for comment but has not yet received a response.
