Garrett grew up along the coast of Southern California where she developed a deep love for the ocean. “Photographing the ocean is a way to capture the dramatic, ever-changing faces of the sea,” Garrett said. “I want others, through my photography, to enjoy and appreciate the seascapes as much as I do.” Austin has been her home for many years. “I am still amazed by its beauty, diversity, and constantly changing scenery, which lends itself to numerous photographic possibilities,” she said. Garrett’s recent travels have given her a chance to photograph a variety of animals.”
